Diaspora Focus magazine in collaboration with Young Leaders and partners are holding auditions for beauty pageants.


Venue: London College of Science & Technology, Unit 6 City Business Centre, London SE15 2XB

Date: Sunday 22 April 2012. An alternate date may be arranged if you are unable to make this date.

Time: 2-6pm


About the event

Diaspora Focus Magazine in collaboration with Young Leaders-Sierra Leone and other partners are hosting an event to mark the Day of the African Child, which has been celebrated on 16 June every year since 1991, when it was first initiated by the Organization of African Unity (now the African Union).

Who can participate?

We are seeking females between 17 and 24 to represent various African countries. Thirteen successful contestants will be selected for training and will enter a competition for a chance to be crowned Miss African-Diaspora UK.
Contestant must reside in the UK or surrounding area and have lived here for at least the past six months.
